He scratched the ticket and became the lucky winner of an amazing top prize worth $5,000 a month, every month, for the rest of his life.

Anne M. Noble, President and CEO for the CT Lottery said that the Win for Life game had a long history as one of the Lottery’s most popular instant games because the value of its top prize could be extraordinary. She added that young people in their 20’s, for instance, could conceivably claim more than $3,000,000 throughout the course of their lifetime.

Snack Plus Deli owner, Ronak Shah explained that they had had several lottery winners over the years, nevertheless that was the biggest prize of all. Walker, decided to opt for the game’s $5,000 a month for life top prize. The lucky winner claimed his first of what he expects are going to be several prize checks at CT Lottery headquarters in Rocky Hill on April 16, 2013 for $3,416 (value after taxes).

Sales began for the new Win for Life 19th Edition game on April 8. The overall chances of winning a prize are 1 in 4.19. At the time, of the 5 top prizes in the game, 4 remained to be claimed.
